I take comfort in this thought on days like today, when while riding to work, the train rounded the corner between Kenmore and Hynes in a particularly rude fashion, and I lunged forward with a grunt, nearly giving mouth-to-mouth to the stranger in front of me. I was quite embarrased at the time, and am now quite sore from my wrist to my shoulder (I was holding on to a strap); but at least I'll be riding with different people tomorrow, and they won't fear me.
